A quick post to lay out my own rankings on the field, before we see the tournament bracket at 9:58pm tonight!

Here’s how I would seed the top 20…with some ambiguity in the second ten due to some robots not playing their third fight until tonight

(Number in parenthesis is the # of KOs this year)

1) End Game 3-0 (3)

Duh!

2) Whiplash 2-0 (1)

3) Uppercut 2-0 (2)

4) Copperhead 2-0 (2)

Flipping around Rotator and Copperhead, I think Copper has been a little bit better this year. Certainly more deadly.

5) Rotator 2-0 (0)

6) Tantrum 2-0 (1)

7) Ribbot 3-0 (3)

8) Blip 3-0 (2)

9) Sawblaze 2-1 (0)

Here ends the “True Contender” group, IMO. The rest are a little more subjective, though I feel pretty good about the order of the final 3 undefeated teams.

10) Shatter! 2-0 (1)

11) Hypershock 2-0 (2)

12) Jackpot 2-0 (2)

At this point we’re at the huge group of 2-1 teams (Sawblaze’s 2-1 record is a bit different, if you recall their loss and how it happened). The next seven finish out the top 20 in some order. Depends how Witch Dr, Madcatter and Bloodsport look in fight 3! And I’m kinda assuming they win obviously…
